In recent years, the world has been facing the challenge of population aging, and how to promote the enhancement of the well-being and quality of life of the elderly is becoming increasingly important, and the design of aging-adapted smart home products has become an important area of research. With the development of AI, cloud computing, IOT, IOT, big data, and VR/XR, smart healthcare, age-friendly smart health products, and digital derivation for aging will continue to grow. However, in many commercially available smart home products, the user interface design and interaction design are too complex for the elderly to understand and use, and the elderly are unlikely to use them for a long time if they can’t learn how to do so.Based on this design pain point, this study starts from the visual cognitive characteristics and behavioral habits of the elderly, and explores the functional requirements and UI design needs of elderly users when using smart health products. This study analyzes the aging-friendly UI design of smart home products from the aspects of visual cognition and IoT technology, and proposes a series of aging-friendly UI design principles for smart home products. It provides theoretical support and practical guidance for the aging-friendly design of smart home products.

摘要
