This paper discusses digital trade secret of trade secrets within an analysis of laws and regulations of protection of trade secrets under Jordanian legislation. It will critically review legal avenues available to individuals whose trade secrets are violated and evaluate challenges to modern technologies, with a view of ensuring the security of this critical asset. It takes into account digital development such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies in the context of securing trade secret information. The paper discusses the judicial aspect of civil and criminal protections for trade secrets and reviews how the judiciary responds to rapid technological development. In addition, it highlights the technological measures to be implemented to enhance protection of trade secrets in the digital environment. The research involves the review of applicable rules of procedure at law and also reviews the practice of law regarding the protection of trade secrets from unfair competition and, particularly, the use of technical evidence in respect of the protection of confidential business information.
