The Legal Challenges Facing the Criminalization of Electronic Defamation and Efforts to Limit Its Spread
摘要
This paper looks at the legal problems that come with making electronic defamation a crime in Jordan, showing how fast tech changes make it hard. It checks if current laws work well against cyber defamation and sees the issues in getting digital proof needed for court cases. The study points out how modern tools help and make it harder to apply rules against e-defamation. Also, it finds missing parts in national laws, saying they need to be updated to follow new online risks. This paper calls for better legal and tech skills for cybercrime seekers, boosting global teamwork and changing home laws to fit with tech changes. Fixing these issues needs a team effort from legal, security, and tech fields to build a strong system that lessens e-defamation while protecting personal rights in the digital world.
