This paper discusses the development of legal protections of trade secrets in Jordan within the broader setting of digital globalization. How these provisions impact economic competitiveness and innovation is also analyzed. Greater value is attached to maintaining secrecy in business because companies are increasingly dependent on digital technologies and AI solutions. Stronger laws are needed to counter risks that mainly come with these, such as digital data breaches elicited by cyber espionage or AI-based reverse engineering. The study makes a comparison between Jordanian legislation and international norms, mainly the TRIPS Agreement of the World Trade Organization, to determine the degree of alignment with the best practices accepted on a global scale. Results show that Jordanian legislation is generally consistent with the key international protections, but still falls short in the aspect of malicious activities and digital shortcomings that risk confidential business information in today's networked world. This further calls for the enhancement of the legal provisions to bridge the legal provisions on cybersecurity in the protection of trade secrets, within monitoring tools, detecting disclosures of AI-powered unauthorized information, and then in the governance policies of a corporate digital company. The study further calls for a higher level of awareness among the Jordanian companies to best practices of managing trade secrets in the digital economy. Through the fusion of legal, technological, and economic strategies and policies, Jordan will manage to strengthen its economy based on innovation and navigate the challenges of digital globalization better.

摘要
