Mesenteric Ischemia Following Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair
摘要
Intestinal ischemia following abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair is a rare but highly morbid complication. It has been shown that increased attentiveness to prevent, detect, and intervene early on intestinal ischemia in the setting of AAA repair can decrease the incidence and mortality of this frequently lethal disease. In this chapter, we present the incidence, etiology, workup, diagnosis, and management of postoperative intestinal ischemia in patients undergoing AAA repair.
