Results provided four master themes: BPO as temporary economic relief, gaining professional skills, career stagnation through misfit, and BPO as a temporary career strategy. The majority viewed BPO as temporary and an economic necessity, posing the greatest critical factor. Even while the development of skills represented an advantage, the stagnation and inappropriateness in the long term were matters of concern for the many. The study concludes that the BPO industry to serve as stopgap as much as steppingstone based on the goal of the individual and the presence of supportive institutions. Recommendations are made to institutions, BPO organizations, and government to enhance the quality of graduate career outcomes and promote more stable career patterns.
