Digital Narratives and Public Art: How Information Visualization Shapes the Future
摘要
With the rapid development of digital technology, information visualization has emerged as a pivotal tool at the intersection of digital narrative and public art. This study examines the evolution of digital narrative and its application in public art, leveraging information visualization techniques to facilitate the intuitive representation and interaction of complex data. The paper begins by outlining the theoretical foundations of digital narrative and information visualization, followed by case studies that analyze applications in interactive installation art, urban data visualization, cross-cultural narratives, and public art in virtual and augmented reality. The findings demonstrate that information visualization not only enhances public engagement and emotional resonance but also redefines the boundaries of artistic expression. Moreover, the study explores the transformative potential of emerging technologies, including AI, IoT, and blockchain, in shaping the future of public art while emphasizing the significance of privacy protection and ethical standards. Finally, the paper proposes directional suggestions for future interdisciplinary research on digital narrative and public art, aiming to foster deeper interactions and innovations between art and society.
