KaleidSip: Guiding School-Age Children’s Drinking Behavior Change Through Sensory Substitution and Embodied Interaction
摘要
We propose KaleidSip, an innovative water cup designed to encourage children to drink more water. By incorporating kaleidoscope-like patterns that change with water consumption, KaleidSip captures children’s attention. The cup also features a water temperature indicator, timed reminders, and tracks water intake, providing a fun and effective way to promote healthy drinking habits. Our design aims to address the widespread issue of insufficient water intake among children, offering a solution that blends functionality with visual appeal. Future work will focus on evaluating KaleidSip’s effectiveness in improving children’s hydration habits and its potential for productization.
