Development of Educational Videos on the Prevention of Chagas Disease for the Child and Youth Population of a Riverside Community in the Amazon: A User Experience Approach
摘要
Chagas disease remains a major health concern in the Brazilian Amazon, particularly in remote riverside communities. This study presents AI-assisted educational videos on disease prevention, designed for children in Marajó Island, Pará, using an adapted “Elements of User Experience” framework. The videos applied Pixar-style animations, a central narrator, and Bloom’s Taxonomy to maximize engagement and learning. A focus group of 15 children (ages 7–10) showed 86.66% knowledge gain, strong visual and narrative approval, and intent to share prevention practices. Findings suggest that user-centered, AI-driven audiovisual tools can effectively enhance health education in vulnerable populations and should be scaled to other neglected tropical diseases.
