The importance of a safe, supportive CLE cannot be overstated. Positive CLEs that prioritize learner safety, autonomy, and constructive feedback help shape professional identities while preventing burnout and enhancing satisfaction among healthcare providers. Conversely, CLEs characterized by poor mentorship, a lack of support, or a toxic culture can severely hinder learning and contribute to emotional exhaustion, negatively impacting both education and patient care. For pediatric trainees, the CLE is a microcosm where the nuances of medical education unfold across individual, interpersonal, and structural levels (Youmans QR et al., J Grad Med Educ 14(3):333–334, 2022). The individual level encompasses personal identity and background, influencing how they perceive and are perceived within the medical community. Interpersonally, relationships with peers, mentors, and supervisors play critical roles, while structurally, the policies and practices of the institution can either support or hinder inclusive learning environments. The interplay of these dynamics influences not only medical education but also the well-being and professional development of the trainees and patient care (Josiah Macy Jr Foundation. Improving environments for learning in the health professions. Proceedings of a conference chaired by David M. Irby. PhD. https://macyfoundation.org/assets/reports/publications/macy_monograph_2018_webfile.pdf . Accessed 23 Aug 2024).

摘要
