The Role of the Sustainable Development Goal 4 in Sustainable Education: A Literature Review
摘要
This study aims to analyse the evolution of the literature following the publication of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and, more specifically, assess the relationship between SDG 4 and the quality of education. The methodology used to carry out this research consists of a literature review seeking to reflect on the aforementioned relationship. This study contributes to the growing literature on the quality and gratuitousness of education and the substantive meanings that SDG4 has had in this growth. The relevance of the study lies in the subject's present relevance. The results suggest that there is a lag in introducing and/or implementing the necessary changes in the education system, and the timely publication of national education policies is a crucial need for promoting these goals. Achieving the goals of SDG 4 is a shared responsibility between individuals, education and training institutions, and regulatory governments.
