SpiceScape is an online application that intends to bring food lovers closer to street food vendors by using geolocation filter, real-time map, and token-based cuisine search. It offers a vendor profile that gives location, the type of food they offer, and their operating hours to customers, as well as using containerized microservices to support scalability and responsiveness. With the help of crowdsourced data, SpiceScape guarantees the latest and most inclusive vendor data. Initial findings show how the platform can help increase the profile of street food sellers, thus supporting local economies and gastronomic tourism. Using features of real-time search and interactive maps, SpiceScape enhances the user experiences and at the same time, promotes the cultural values and supports small-scale sellers.
