A New Human: The Augmented “Humanet”
摘要
Several traits define Homo Externatus as a new kind of human. First, his augmentation extends far beyond previous prosthetic enhancements. Second, his constant connection to the digital realm creates an uninterrupted experiential universe. Third, his virtual-driven disembodiment fosters a sense of derealization. Finally, Externatus becomes a de-hierarchized Sapiens. Although social realities still leave considerable room for hierarchy, the dominant ideological narrative promotes free interaction among equal individuals. Digitalization constitutes a new form of order, rooted in the encoding of all communication. It functions as an infrastructure through the digital cables, protocols, data centers, and platforms; and as a superstructure, with the internet acting as the network of networks and cloud computing enabling global processing. Major digital operators are not mere subcontractors but super-contractors, underscoring the meta-role that digital technology plays. As such, it is more accurate to describe this as a metastructure, operating through one new metalanguage: numerical language. As a whole, the digital transformation of society is profound. It recreates unity, becomes a source of truth, offers life and hope. It is mysterious yet omnipresent, and it establishes a new universal order, transforming humanity at its core. These are the hallmarks of something divine—but an a-semantic, non-transcendent divinity.
