Home care beds play an important role in the daily life of the disabled elderly as auxiliary equipment, and their design must meet the core needs of the disabled elderly. In this study, we firstly derived the user requirements through user interviews, then applied the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method to transform the requirements into design features, and then established a hierarchical model of the rating structure of the care beds for the disabled elderly based on the design features by applying the AHP method, and then set up judgement matrices foreach level, and invited 12 experts and scholars to fil in the judgement matrix to ensure there liability of the results of the weighting calculations, finally derived the preferred design features through the weight calculations. Priority design features. The results show that the seven main entry points for the innovative design of nursing care beds to meet the core needs of the elderly with disabilities are matching the bed size with human body data, collection of urine and faeces. Conversion of the bed to a wheelchair, lifting the back, turning over, functional operation buttons. And guardrail arm rests. The application model integrating the QFD and AHP methods can transform user requirements into priority design features of the product, providing an effective method for nursing bed design.

摘要
