This research investigates current big data adoption patterns while analyzing the elements that drive its deployment and their influence on organizational results. The research necessity emerges because big data has become increasingly important in business intelligence analytics and data management fields. The discussion about big data adoption continues to spread but researchers have not conducted enough empirical studies to understand its actual implementation particularly in regional settings. The research uses a qualitative case study design to examine Omantel as the leading telecommunications company in the Sultanate of Oman. The research will gather data through semi-structured interviews to understand the factors that influence big data adoption in an actual organizational setting.
