Circular economy is becoming a global standard and gained big attention from both researchers and sustainability experts in all industries related to construction field. Sustainability actions are not limited to finding ways of saving natural resources, but it goes beyond that to include the overall lifecycle of the materials to minimize the waste and reduce the environmental impacts of the materials disposal. This research aims to review the relationship between circularity processes and sustainability performance mediated through green innovation in the construction industry within the UAE. The study presents a background about the circularity in relation to the construction context. The study developed a literature review discusses the definitions of Circularity, sustainability performance, and green innovation. And short brief about the VOS analysis of some related papers in the existing literature and how research problem has been discussed in theoretical papers and the underpinning theories. Based on the literature review the conceptual framework was developed to visualize the relations among the three variables, hypotheses discussed and lastly the survey questionnaire is developed.
