“The Impact of Assessment-Driven Personalized Learning Platforms on Making Students Academic Progress a Reality in Emirati Charter Schools: A Case Study”
摘要
In an era of revolutionary metamorphosis in teaching and learning mechanisms, personalized learning has unfolded as one of the most promising strategies to foster learners' academic progress by addressing their educational needs and drawing a road map to satisfy those needs. The main objective of this paper is to assess the impact of an assessment-driven personalized learning platform (Exact Path-Edmentum) in enhancing students' academic progress in one of the charter schools in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This study used a quantitative approach to obtain the data from secondary sources such as the Edmentum-Exact Path platform and MAP Growth database. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. Findings of the study suggested that pupils who were highly engaged in using the assessment-driven personalized learning platforms could achieve exceptional academic progress. The study recommends conducting more studies in personalized learning paths to understand their significance in supporting learners.
