Grants Management System (GMS): Digital Services for Skill Development in Society 5.0
摘要
Transitioning to Society 5.0 brings emphasis to integrating facets of life and digital technologies, especially in workforce development and education. The case study presented frames the role of a Grants Management System (GMS) as a digital service designed to streamline the management of grants and training programs in the context of skill development. Through automating processes, improving transparency, and promoting data-driven decision-making, the GMS aligns education with the constantly changing needs of the labor market. This system allows stakeholders, such as educational institutions, industry bodies, and government agencies, to work together more efficiently and therefore ensure that workforce training will be the one demanded by a digital and dynamic economy. The GMS thus is the vehicle for sustainable economic development, as it facilitates efficient resource allocation and enables a future-ready, skilled workforce to thrive in Society 5.0.
