The EUproHealth 2021–2027 plan underscores the importance of strengthening digital competencies among professionals. This systematic review analyzes the existing digital competence frameworks and highlights the lack of a specific European framework for the health sector. The findings suggest the need for a unified approach that addresses the current demands of digital competence in healthcare and facilitates a curricular reform aligned with emerging technological needs.
