In this chapter we introduce and study the scale of second-generation inhomogeneous Herz-type Hardy spaces in the setting of unbounded Ahlfors regular sets. We develop a functional analytic framework for this brand of Hardy spaces, that includes atomic and molecular theory. We start by making the following definition. The reader is advised to recall the Fefferman-Stein grand maximal function introduced in Definition 4.1 .
