IOT for Smart Health Monitoring System
摘要
Science and expertise in the healthcare industry have evolved in recent years because to advancements in wireless sensing technology. IoT- enabled technologies allow the creation of innovative, non-invasive healthcare support solutions. In this work, an IoT based health-care monitoring model has been developed. Continuous monitoring of diabetes patients, hypertension patients and specially the old age patients living in remote areas of developing countries like India may not always have immediate access to diagnostic facilities. Purchasing separate devices and frequent hospital visits might be costly for the general public. Here, the proposed model can measure the heartbeat, temperature and oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels in the blood and transfer the results to a web-server, allowing patient monitoring from a remote location or anywhere in the world. Furthermore, this system provides real-time data of heartbeat and oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels in the blood transmitted to the webserver can be stored in real time as an Excel sheet that can be downloaded and used for further monitoring, any research activity, medical studies, and as data for future use.
