Nutrigenomics explores the interaction between nutrition and gene expression, aiming to personalize dietary interventions based on individual genetic profiles. In day-to-day practice and in practical applications, this interdisciplinary field has regulatory challenges and policy implications. The global regulatory framework for genetic testing and nutrigenomic applications negotiates the gaps existing between consumer protection and the need for adoption of policies. Whereas in standardizing the nutrigenomics-related products and services, the complexity occurs between individual choices or preferences, and evolving technology needs to be taken into consideration for better outcomes in consumer acceptability. On the other hand, policymakers and experts in nutrigenomics need to be integrated for consumer safety and product efficacy. Furthermore, the successful implementation of nutrigenomic products in the market can be achieved through effective product development by adopting ethical considerations and personalized nutrition strategies. The coordination and collaboration between government and industrial stakeholders are also mandatory. The current article focuses on the importance of regulation, standardization, and collaboration in implementing nutrigenomics as an accessible tool for preventive healthcare.

摘要
