The oil and gas industry relies heavily on specialized software for wellbore planning and drilling calculations. However, most available tools are in English and designed for macOS or Linux, creating accessibility barriers for Spanish-speaking engineers using Windows. This work presents a MATLAB-based software solution, developed in Spanish, to facilitate drilling calculations for J-type wells while serving as a training platform for more specialized applications. The software integrates key drilling parameters—such as trajectory, torque and drag, hydraulics, and casing design—into a user-friendly interface. Validation against industry-standard software demonstrates its accuracy, while its educational design facilitates a smooth transition to advanced tools.
