As urbanization levels increase worldwide, the risks to the health and well-being of urban populations also rise, primarily due to factors such as air pollution, noise, and the lack of access to clean water resources. These problems must be solved immediately. Otherwise, urban living will become unsustainable, forcing people to relocate or spend significant resources to restore their health. Meanwhile, rapidly expanding developing cities face shortages of essential resources such as electricity, water, air, soil, and other natural resources, alongside increasing pollution, which forces city authorities and residents to adopt resource-saving technologies and practices. In these conditions, communities and business operators must develop a unified strategy that will make it possible to protect and improve the environment in the city. This research presents the core elements, components, and directions of the “Green City” strategy, which served as the basis for developing new comprehensive approaches to this strategy, considering international experience and current trends.

摘要
