The authors draw significant practical conclusions based on the analysis of the current state of the business architecture in a logistics company. The application of various maturity models allowed the authors to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the enterprise’s architecture and establish key directions for further improvements. The primary focus was placed on leveraging the BIZBOK framework to enhance the logistics enterprise’s architecture. The research demonstrated that integrating the BIZBOK framework into the analyzed enterprise’s architecture would facilitate the optimization of business processes and their alignment with IT architecture, allow for the standardization of methodologies, and improve collaboration between the company’s various departments. These changes are expected to elevate the quality of the company’s service offerings, positively impacting the enterprise’s economic performance in the long term. Moreover, the stability of operational processes would increase, reinforcing the core value of the company’s services, thus making the logistics enterprise’s products more appealing to existing and potential clients. The authors conclude that these improvements should enable effective management and alignment of the company’s strategy.
