The whole world has entered an era of change associated with digital technologies. Digital innovations play a crucial role in a country’s development, security, and the improvement of living standards, ultimately transforming quality of life. As a result, nations are striving to stay competitive in this rapidly evolving field. Advanced digital technologies have become an essential part of everyday life, accelerating the pace at which the world is changing. Nowadays, many developed and developing countries implement digital technologies, ensuring increased productivity and saving time and resources. The Republic of Armenia (RA) is also embarking on creating a digital environment. Since 2018, reforms have been implemented in public transport in Armenia. Nowadays, a new digital system has already been introduced in public transport. The perceptions of members of society regarding the creation of any new digital environment are highly diverse and contradictory. In this context, the strong reaction of the public, especially older people, to Armenia’s new digital public transport system did not go unnoticed.
