Green industry studies have been placed under increasingly more attention as far as entrepreneurship and sustainable innovate technology are concerned. This research aims to analyze mapping and trends in green industry research that navigates innovation and entrepreneurship from a global perspective. This study uses bibliometric analysis with data from Scopus covering 1977 to 2023, including 1,336 documents from 87 countries. R Biblioshiny is a bibliometric analysis tool utilized in this research. We systematically analyze the dataset to identify the summary statistics, annual science production, three-field plots, thematic maps, and trend topics. Our findings indicated a consistent growth in the number of academic yearly and industry publications in green industry research. The research topics of sustainable development, environmental protection, and green economy represent motor research themes. Multidisciplinary research topics related to the green industry, such as green industry, finance, investment, economic development, carbon, green economy, and environmental policy, still appear to be consistent and trends to be researched in the future by trend topics analysis. This research expands understanding of green industry, encouraging the adoption of green technology and sustainable practices to increase industrial efficiency and competitiveness to accelerate the transition to an entrepreneurship-based sustainable economy.
