Gamification is emerging as an innovative educational strategy that promotes active and productive participation. Using Action Research, we designed, iterated, and refined a gamification tool implemented across several editions of a university’s entrepreneurship program for students completing their final degree projects. This gamified approach builds on the strategic analysis tools used by students to assess their entrepreneurial projects. The results of the intervention were assessed through a set of evidence sources. Qualitative analysis shows that the gamification approach enhances participants’ ability to improve their innovation projects, transforming the process from linear to iterative and feedback driven. High levels of acceptance and engagement were also observed, with participants highlighting the benefits of interacting with other entrepreneurs and mentors.
