Multiple Response Optimization: A Review of Methods That Apply Interactive and Posterior Preference Articulation Approaches
摘要
Most industrial applications of product/process development require simultaneous consideration of multiple responses in determination of design parameter settings. This problem is called multiple response optimization (MRO) problem. Since the responses are often in conflict, in order to obtain the most preferred compromising solution preference information of decision maker is required. The methods for MRO can be classified into three categories according to the timing of the DM’s preference articulation as prior, interactive (progressive), and posterior preference articulation approaches. This paper reviews interactive and posterior MRO methods by considering also the statistical issues as variances of the responses, model parameter uncertainties, implementation errors and correlations between the responses.
