Sustainable development is a crucial issue for the improvement of the production environments of textile SMEs, as it is important for this sector to adopt environmentally responsible production practices. This article analyzes the technologies that strengthen different sustainable practices identified in the literature, around products, processes and the organization. Blockchain, artificial intelligence and the internet of things are the technologies most frequently mentioned in the research, while the sustainable practices that stand out the most are circular economy, product life cycle analysis and the transformation to sustainable business models. Finally, a bibliographic base is provided to explore different technologies and their contribution to environmental, social and economic sustainability.
