摘要

With the spread of UAV-based photogrammetric surveys and their use of image or point cloud-based information, image processing algorithms are playing an increasingly important role in the evaluation of surveying measurements. In this article, we present one such technique: the so-called Active Contours, known from the field of machine vision. Among the practical applications in engineering surveying, we present their possible use in the context of volume computation tasks.
