Building Information Modeling (BIM) represents a significant advancement in the digital transformation of the construction industry. It provides an object-oriented 3D model that includes detailed information about structures, elements, and their parameters. In recent years, there has been increasing attention on creating information models of historic buildings. This paper describes the process of developing the BIM model of the Natural History Museum of the Slovak National Museum. Individual sections focus on the creation of Exchange Information Requirements (EIR), data capture using terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) photogrammetry, and the development of the information model itself. The paper also presents the final model.
