Research on the Design of Animated Virtual Characters Under the Evolution of the Virtual Human Integration Ecosystem
摘要
The rapid evolution of digital human technologies has fostered a fusion ecology that integrates artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and 3D animation, creating both unprecedented opportunities and novel challenges for virtual character design. This paper investigates how animated virtual characters can be effectively conceptualized, generated, and deployed within this emerging ecological paradigm. It examines the technological, aesthetic, and system-level foundations of character creation, with a focus on real-time animation frameworks such as Omniverse Audio2Face and Unity3D. A computational model for facial animation is explored, based on blendshape topology and interpolation algorithms, to support lifelike expression and multimodal responsiveness. The study aims to provide a theoretical and technical foundation for the development of intelligent, emotionally expressive, and ecologically adaptive virtual characters.
