This chapter discusses the problem of designing an unknown input observer to asymptotically estimate an unknown input, d(t), for a class of time-delay systems where only delayed output vector is available, i.e., \(y(t)=C_dx(t-\tau )\) . Our solution approach enables us to estimate the unknown input after a time delay, \(\tau \) . Thus, we can have \(\hat{d}(t-\tau )\) asymptotically converge to \(d(t-\tau )\) .
