This chapter provides a synopsis of the analyses conducted in this monograph, with a particular focus on the process approach to managing environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) areas. The study presents an original conceptual model that frames ESG as a complex, iterative process of continuous improvement, integrated across various levels of organisational management. The limitations of the research are indicated, including the dynamic global political-economic context and the evolving nature of non-financial reporting standards. The chapter goes on to propose future research directions, with a particular emphasis on the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing ESG processes and the importance of fostering cooperation and dialogue in the concept’s ongoing development.
