For the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector, retaining talent is a constant battle, with working conditions frequently playing a pivotal role in IT professionals’ decisions to move on. Our research aimed to specifically investigate how these conditions shape an employee’s intention to leave their job. We conducted a quantitative study, collecting survey data from IT professionals working in ICT companies throughout Bangladesh’s Dhaka region. Through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) analysis, we discovered a significant inverse relationship: better working conditions demonstrably lead to a reduced intention to quit. This insight is crucial for understanding how to keep valuable employees, offering concrete guidance for ICT firms looking to enhance job satisfaction and build more enduring teams.

摘要
