UrbanRemote sensing heat islands (UHIs) constitute an increasingly significant environmental issue, characterized by markedly higher temperatures in urban areas relative to their rural counterparts. Despite the proliferation of UHIUrban Heat Islands (UHIs) research, a comprehensive understanding of global research trends, methodological approaches, and emerging directions in this domain remains insufficient. This study seeks to address these issues by performing a systematic scientometricScientometrics analysis of UHI research utilizing remote sensingRemote sensing technologies. For this purpose, we have systematically collected and analyzed 300 scholarly publications focused on UHIUrban Heat Islands (UHIs) and remote sensingRemote sensing. The scientometricScientometrics analysis revealed three differentiated research groups, while examination of citation patterns identified key scholars whose work has been foundational to UHIUrban Heat Islands (UHIs) research development. Keyword trends indicate that remote sensingRemote sensing methodologies have gained considerable prominence, particularly in recent years. Furthermore, this analysis offers a structured framework for comprehending the evolution and current state of UHIUrban Heat Islands (UHIs) research while identifying potential future research directions.

摘要
