To assess the knowledge related to the cyber security domain, a questionnaire consisting of 23 questions was distributed among the university settings. The awareness questionnaire was based on three important subsets of cyber security: - Password Security, Browser security, and Social Media Etiquette. A total of 119 responses were collected and analyzed. More than 85% of the respondents agreed that a strong and complex password should be formed and regularly updated to be used for logging on the various online platforms. Additionally, 83.4% of respondents agreed that browser updation and privacy controls are essential for safeguarding browsers against cyber threats. Similarly, more than 60% of the respondents disagreed with being indulged in any unusual activity related to social media. The findings of the study suggest that the majority of the respondents are aware of cyber threats and cyber security measures.
