Space is dark and cold. It is Really. Mostly. Nothing. Why divert our time and energyEnergy to putting humans in space? We face many challenges on Earth. Our current astronauts are some of Earth’s best and brightest accomplished scientists, engineers, artists, doers, and thinkers. Instead of sending them to the moonMoon, or MarsMars, or even farther, why not have them solve the problems we have on Earth here and now? Why risk sending humans at all?
