Conclusion
摘要
This chapter summarizes the record of the canceling attitude in achieving its goals. Despite the opportunity presented by Putin’s aggressive war in Ukraine, the Western hawks largely failed to convince Western governments to act on their fears and recommendations. The global community outside the West is also far from convinced that Russia and the Russians should be singularly blamed and punished for the war. The chapter discusses the reasons for these outcomes and reflects on future developments in Russia–Western relations.
