Exploring the Impact of Green Human Resource Management Practices on Organizational Sustainability: A Case Study of EcoLuxe Hotels
摘要
This research analyzes the impact of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices at EcoLuxe Hotels, a global hotel chain committed to achieving excellence in environmental sustainability in the hospitality sector. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of GHRM practices of EcoLuxe Hotels on employee behavior, organizational sustainability, and Triple Bottom Line (TBL) performance, particularly in the post-pandemic hospitality environment. This research utilizes a qualitative case study approach to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of GHRM practices at EcoLuxe Hotels. The research showed that the adoption of GHRM practices such as green recruiting, environmental awareness training, performance evaluation assessment, and reward systems substantially improved employee pro-environmental behavior and inculcated a robust green corporate culture at EcoLuxe Hotels. Furthermore, post-pandemic changes such as digital training and resource-efficient operations improved the hotel’s sustainability performance across environmental, social, and economic aspects. Further study should apply mixed-method both quantitative and qualitative approaches to evaluate the enduring impacts of GHRM practices on environmental performance metrics, staff retention, and operational efficacy. The originality of this research lies in its analysis of the hotel sector and its integration of post-pandemic factors into the analysis of GHRM practices.
