This chapter, using PRISMA guidelines, examines research, educational programs, and industry collaborationsIndustry collaboration from 2015 to 2024. A rigorous quality assessment of 50 articles resulted in 19 being selected. Six key themes emerged from the analysis: cybersecurity challenges, higher education’sHigher education role, regulatory complianceRegulatory compliance, emerging technologies, collaborations between industry and academia, and workforce developmentWorkforce development. The next chapter’s SECURE frameworkSECURE framework uses these themes as its theoretical base, providing structured ways to improve cybersecurityCybersecurity training in EU digital supply chainsSupply chain.
