Transformation of Historical Accessories Through Wool Felting
摘要
This work shows how the historical aesthetics of fashion accessories can be adapted using modern materials and technologies. The aim is to interpret and adapt the Empire, Romanticism, Victorian, and Art Nouveau styles to modern fashion trends. Visual analysis of archival and museum collections, both wet and dry wool felting, and the application of digital tools – AI for image generation and software for creating digital sketches were used. The results show that the vision of historical styles is successfully recreated with new materials, and the felting technique is an element that connects classical approaches with modern technologies. Textile aesthetics is effectively integrated into a digital environment, revealing new opportunities for sustainable and personalized design, applicable both in authorial projects and in individual and collective creative activity.
