This chapter presents a low-resource method for estimating visual acuity without the use of optical devices. The approach is based on geometric principles and requires only minimal materials. It is particularly suitable for use in emergency medicine, conflict zones, or regions with limited access to ophthalmologic infrastructure. The method’s applicability, limitations, and potential for digital integration are discussed in detail.
