This paper presents a development of virtual reality driving simulation in order to improve convenience in obtaining a driver’s license. This research utilizes the advantages of the virtual world for the user to interact with a virtual vehicle and to practice for Thailand’s driving license exams. A development of virtual reality application contains three main driving situations according to Thailand driver’s license test. By wearing a virtual reality headset and using the Logitech G29 set and Logitech Driving Force Gear Shifter, the content available will allow the user to interact with and inspect the driving simulation test tracks, which is modeled after the real world, where a series of driving tests and instructions will appear to guide the user. The user can interact with objects in the scene with the Logitech Driving Force set. With these valuable assets available, the virtual reality simulation for driver’s license test is considered a new generation of the education and testing system. The application of virtual reality simulation for driver’s license tests can be used in driving schools and during driving examinations.
