The purpose of this paper is to analyze the OAS's approaches or proposals on cybersecurity that are currently relevant in the context of ICTs. A documentary analysis was conducted of thirteen texts published on the OAS website from 2000 to 2024. The main categories were established: training or education, establishment of partnerships, systems approach to cybersecurity education, objectives and activities of the CICTE program, problems and recommendations regarding attacks, the cybersecurity labor market, the role of governments in the region, the proposal for a national cybersecurity strategy, women's cybersecurity in the context of COVID-19, the promotion of cybersecurity funds, and online gender-based violence against women, among others. It is concluded that this organization focuses on education, training students from basic to higher education to develop their skills or competencies in cybersecurity to safeguard the data or information of individuals or institutions. It also proposes its funding and practice in the development of democracy.
