The Home Intrusion Detection System achieves this by increasing the level of home safety since it monitors and senses unauthorized entry without prior notice to home occupants. It is powered by a Raspberry Pi and collects data with several sensors to provide high-level surveillance. The high quality camera fitted on the system can monitor in real time and take pictures the moment unusual activity occurs. In order to operate well in darkness, it uses Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensors which sense changes in light and are helpful in nighttime or low-light intrusion detection. Moreover, the Infrared (IR) sensors are sensitive to capture movement even in the lower light scenario. When the sensor imagines any suspicious behavior, it triggers an LED light and a buzzer instantly, to scare and notify residents and other people nearby. This instant feedback gives direct and noticeable indications. Merging live streaming video report, instant alerts, and evidence collecting, the system is a small, energy-saver, and easily installable system that makes security of the modern smart house highly effective.
