The Importance of Inpatient Management Processes and Their Potential Enhancement by the Use of AI: Case Study from Slovakia

The objective of the study is to uncover the impact of certain patient management processes in hospitals on overall patient satisfaction and to propose their improvement through the implementation of AI technology. The impact of selected indicators representing the crucial patient management procedures on the overall patient satisfaction in Slovak Public hospitals was analyzed in this study by using linear regression analysis. The study's findings identified that management processes like a surgical operation conducted in facility, the rate of planned surgeries, and patient discharges have a substantial impact on overall patient satisfaction. The application of an AI tools was suggested to enhance and sustainable these processes.
