Ensuring Acoustic Comfort in Interior Spaces Using Efficient Freestanding Acoustic Partition Walls
摘要
In the interior spaces of industrial companies, in order to carry out a more functional activity, it is necessary to have a comfortable atmosphere from an acoustic point of view. Freestanding acoustic partition walls have emerged as an efficient component in the quest to create acoustically comfortable interior spaces. The paper investigates the efficiency of such partition walls made of a structure in which the absorbent material is obtained from recyclable materials, which are tested for sound absorption capabilities. Measurements were performed using high-performance equipment and applying the standards in force, and a very good efficiency was highlighted in comparison with an enclosure having an interior surface covered with reflective material. Two different types of freestanding acoustic partition walls were investigated, and their ability to emphasize acoustic comfort for promoting health and productivity was proved, the positive effects on noise reduction having direct implications for productivity and overall occupational health.
