Energy Efficient Cluster Based Routing Using Meta Heuristic Approaches for Wireless Sensor Networks: A Survey
摘要
The Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a large collection of tiny, battery-operated sensor nodes that function independently to sense, analyses, and communicate data. Many remote sensing applications can make use of these tiny gadgets. As wireless sensor networks have a finite amount of energy, increasing network lifespan is one of the main design issues. The one best way to minimize energy dissipation is to cluster the nodes. Clustering involves grouping nodes into clusters with one or more cluster heads, depending on network size. The node data is accumulated by appropriate cluster heads is routed to the base station. By minimizing long delays, clustering techniques extend the life of networks. To make networks last longer and shorten the time nodes spend inactive must travel to communicate with base stations, use the clustering algorithm. In this examination of the relevant literature, many different clustering approaches, along with the workings of a few clustering algorithms, and a separation of these methods depending on the performance of the algorithm. Meta heuristic and hybrid techniques suites best for Energy efficient routing in WSN.
